The food and drink here do not disappoint! Their honey simple syrup for their cocktails is dreamy. My husband actually quit talking while eating the burger because it was that good, lol.
The theme of this place is Scandinavian and they take pride in it. The beer is good and the food is great. I recommend trying the shield maiden which has is a crisp saison beer with raspberry. For food the smorgasbord is ideal to try several different things. The best food item I tried was the flat bread.
We love you guys and are going to miss you terribly! The food is phenomenal and will be difficult to replicate. So very tasty and causes some serious cravings. Wish the best for everyone! We will think of you always best service we've had anywhere
Update 6/18/25: came here for lunch today and happy I did! I heard that their last day of service at this location is this Saturday! So sad to see them close these doors! The north west location is just too far for a random, casual lunchbreak for me. Stopped by the Viking Braggot Southtowne Pub for the first time today for lunch. Had an amazing fall infused aqua it with an Equinox Fall Saison. They paired perfectly together! We shared smothered fries and the frikadeller (meatballs). I'm not a fan of horseradish, but luckily the horseradish dill sauce wasn't heavy in the horseradish. We also had a sampler platter and enjoyed everything on it as well.
Food here is very good! Drinks are spectacular! I highly recommend dining and drinking here! Very wheelchair accessible and accommodating to wheelchair guests!
Great food, drinks and atmosphere! Fabulous smorgasbord sampler tray, Danish meatballs, beet fritters, flatbread and dip. Sandwiches and wraps were delicious and the side of mushroom soup fantastic! Our server was attentive and we had a wonderful meal!
Burgers here are a-mazing and the seafood chowder too. The pretzel came out super fresh, just boiled with flaky sea salt. Tasty beers, friendly service - our second time coming here and they didn’t fail to deliver!
Hands down the most creative flavors I’ve enjoyed in Eugene, the atmosphere is comfortable and laid-back while the service is excellent. The menu is truly a craft of love. Not your average pub experience- this place is above and beyond at reasonable prices. This food is art. Each item sounds mouthwatering, I can’t wait to go back for more. I want to taste the whole menu. The ingredients are sourced thoughtfully and locally. I love a splendid date night, I’ve been to a lot of nice eateries around the world. I was truly delighted by the Viking Brewing Southtowne Pub. In my opinion this dining experience was among the best of the best in the most casual way. If you want amazing food in a laid back atmosphere, appropriate for any occasion, this is your place.
